Malaysia EEZ Tracker
This tool, developed by Global Fishing Watch, is an open-access platform that tracks human activity at sea. You can use it to track and analyze maritime activity and vessel presence within and around the Malaysia Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).It works by combining GPS tracking (what ships broadcast) with space-based radar and night-vision cameras (what satellites physically see). By comparing these two layers, the tool instantly highlights compliant vessels and flags hidden "dark vessels" that may be operating illegally in Malaysian waters.
